🌀 Tortellini Test Run: Two Fillings, One Happy Husband

handmade tortellini

Last week I rolled up my sleeves and tried something new—handmade tortellini.

I’ve never made them before, and honestly? They turned out pretty great for a first try. Cute little bundles packed with flavour, twisted one by one. And yes, it took a while—but it was totally worth it.

🥬 Filling #1: Spinach & Cashew

I wanted something light, creamy, and vegetarian. So I blended wilted spinach with seasoned cashew cream and a hint of nutmeg. The result? Delicate, smooth, and really satisfying. Definitely a contender for the menu.

🧀 Filling #2: Salami & Ricotta

For the meat lovers, I mixed soft ricotta with finely chopped salami and a touch of lemon zest. Rich, salty, and super comforting—my husband’s personal favourite (and he’s usually my toughest critic).

📸 So… Will They Be on the Menu?

Not yet—but maybe soon! I’m testing a few more fillings and playing around with sauces. But these little guys might be making their debut at Pasta Nut soon.

đź‘€ What Do You Think?

Would you be into tortellini on the Pasta Nut menu?
